When tutoring, he likes to focus on creating a comfortable, productive learning atmosphere to eliminate any anxiety or frustration that students can sometimes feel. He especially enjoys the way that mathematical ideas build on each other, and believes that breaking down concepts into simple, step-by-step processes can make math accessible to anyone! Josh is a passionate hiker who loves finding beautiful places in nature, and also likes to play soccer and chess whenever he has the chance.

Hayley graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her interdisciplinary studies included biology, math and chemistry. Her favorite subjects to tutor are elementary and middle school math and Spanish. Hayley’s bubbly personality and attention to detail allow her to connect with students and work through challenging problems together as a team. She recognizes that every student has a different learning style and she enjoys meeting students where they’re at to help them get to where they need to be for success. When Hayley isn’t tutoring, she enjoys live music events and going to the beach.

Amanda especially excels at explaining Geometry concepts and proofs in a way that brings true clarity for students. In her free time, Amanda enjoys riding her motorcycle in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter on the small family farm where she lives in Minnesota.

Erin excels at making material easily understandable by customizing lessons and explaining material in a way that clicks for each student. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and doing science experiments with her kids!

Ronnie graduated from Rowan University with degrees in both Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry. She recently defended her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Brown before moving to LA to start a research position at USC. She first discovered her love of chemistry and biology during her freshman year and has been tutoring ever since. No matter how complex the problem is, Ronnie always strived to help the student connect to fundamental concepts in order to logically think through the solution. When Ronnie isn’t researching or tutoring, she loves to hike, craft, and hang out with her two cats!
